COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

Pours a cloudy straw topped by a huge frothy white head showing great retention and leaving big chunky lacing when the glass is tilted. The nose is lemon, fresh white bread and herbal hops, The taste is bold with sharp lemon zest paired up with vivid carbs. A good breadiness comes next closely followed by the herbal hops. Lands on the back of the palate with a somewhat lingering mineral feature. This is what a Saison is all about. Goes (insanely) well with fish. Cheers!

Riktigt gott.

From 375 ml bottle. Pours a hazy gold with a sudsy but lasting white head. Aromas of lemon, barnyard funk, apple, pepper and flowers. Taste is sharp lemon at first, a bit like lemon juice, followed by green apple, pepper and cinnamon. There’s also a bit of a fusil alcohol or chemical note that smooths out as the beer warms up. Not bad but somewhat unbalanced.

Bottle from Mane Liquor. This wasn’t really my sort of Saison. Very farmhouse focused with loads of banana, wheat and honey coming through. Fairly zesty with a herbal focus as well. Had To Ol Snowball Saison after this which is more along my preference of taste as it was much more fruit driven and vibrant. This was good just not what I was looking for

Cloudy dark orange 3 finger off white head. Aroma is spicy with pepper, clove and ginger. Very substantial mouthfeel in carbonation and tingling. Intense bitterness toward middle and finish with pine and a faint bitter orange. A taste of honey and more herbs. Sweet as well in lingering taste.

600ml bottle. Pours cloudy yellow. Crisp mouth feel, refreshing as a saison should be, but it lacks a distinct taste or aroma. Disappointing.

Bottle. Just hazy gold with a large white head that lasts well. Aroma of peach, lemon, hay, slightly funky dough, cloves. Sweet peach, some tropical fruit, crackers, lemons, dry and spicy (pepper and cloves) at the end. A little zippy there too. Nice, maybe a little austere.
