COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

Impressioni generali: Birra fruttata, rinfrescante e decisamente croccante. Buonissima, ne avrei bevuto ben più di 60 cl, forse sessanta litri sarebbero stati giusti.

Saison 101. This brew has it all. Weizen-like banana and spices. Nice hops, yeast and fruity after-taste. Might be the best saison in the world

Pours a cloudy straw topped by a huge frothy white head showing great retention and leaving big chunky lacing when the glass is tilted. The nose is lemon, fresh white bread and herbal hops, The taste is bold with sharp lemon zest paired up with vivid carbs. A good breadiness comes next closely followed by the herbal hops. Lands on the back of the palate with a somewhat lingering mineral feature. This is what a Saison is all about. Goes (insanely) well with fish. Cheers!

What a treat from Tony (Duffman). Pours hazy gold with a medium head and great lacing. Aroma is spot-on: Lemon, yeast, hay, burlap, soil, rain. Amazing. Flavor is better than the aroma promises- wallops of bret funk, apricots, lemon, cobwebs, hemp/burlap, brie rind, some distant pepper, and grass/hay in the finish. Simply astounded by this one, maybe my favorite beer in a long while. That they got this much flavor in a 6% ABV beer is astounding.

(Rating #3054)

Several 5 oz pours at brewers fest in Shawinigan. Light gold pour with fluffy white head. Aroma is a beautiful mix of stonefruits, honey, some herbs - coriander and spicy yeast. Taste is just sweet enough with a dry, refreshing finish just like a saison should be. Palate is lively with carbonation and quite enjoyable. The best beer of the night.

Bottle at Le Bremner in Montreal. Clear golden pour, with a huge white head. Big aroma of malted grains, quite a sharp bitter aroma of crisp grassy, slightly citric hops. The mouth feel ks very effervescent, with a very lively cabr. The finish is quite bitter, lots of floral, herbacious grassy/citric hops, and a great peppery touch. The malts balance quite well and add a tiny bit of grainy sweetness that is needed. Very crisp, and quenching, went amazing with my meal. A superb classic style saison.

A fine Saison, the lightest I have had but a welcome addition to my beerpetoire. Quite an energetic, fizzy head adorns a hazy pale straw. Herbs, basement, grapes, honey, floral hops earth and lemon take you on a wild tractor ride through a brewed wonderland. A crisp and lively beer that ends bitter and fantastic.
