COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

375 ml bottle from the LCBO. Pours a pale yellow, cloudy, with large white head. Smell is dominated by Belgian yeast, banana, herbs, lemon. Effervescent carbonation. Taste is full of herbs and spice with a Belgian funk finish. Mildly bitter, with hints of tropical fruit. Refreshing too.

Sour smell. The taste is incredibly balanced with fitting carbonation that supports the sourness. Very refreshing.

Pours a slightly hazy straw yellow with a frothy white head. Nose is spicy, Belgian yeast, citrus and tropical fruits. Very promising. In the mouth, there is a nice Saison spiciness and pepper notes backed up by floral hops, citrus & banana notes, grains, and a long medium pine bitterness. Great mouth feel and high carbonation. Perfect fruity Saison!

Pours hazy yellowish orange with a large white head. The aroma has pale malt, powder, nectar fruit, lemon, tropical fruit, saison bugs and a brightness to everything. It has a medium / light body that is very crisp and snappy with a pretty good amount of carbonation, The flavor starts up with spice, dry stone fruits, saison earthiness, peppery spice and a bit of a wild yeast aspect. The finish is crisp and refreshing with smooth fruitiness contrasting nicely with the earthy dry qualities. Really nicely done saison.

Nice yellow color with big white head. Aroma is yeasty, honey, banana, light fruits, a little hint of funk. Taste is light and spicy-aromatic. Light body and smooth feel, but still refreshing. A good classic Saison.

Bottle, 11/24/2014. Pours hazy golden orange, huge frothy head with great retention. Aroma is light fruit, touch of honey and floral perfume, doughy yeast. Taste is lemon wheat, banana, yeast, mellow spice/pepper and bitterness in the finish, not overdone. Light body, crisp carbonation but smooth mouthfeel. Nice, well-done straightforward saison.

Bottle at home picked up at Mile High. Pour is hazy lemon peel with a frothy white head and great lacing. Minerals, straw, bright lemons, grass, somewhat herbal, light spice, yeast, and cereal in the aroma. Taste is big grassy, dough, light pepper, some tart lemons, somewhat chalky, biscuit, and nice straw notes with a semi-bitter finish. Medium body with high carbonation. Clean, semi-tart and effervescent. Nice stuff.

I’m not sure how I never rated this - I’ve had it enough times. This is excellent. Comes together with great hay. Pours cloudy golden with good head and lacing. Finishes with light bitterness, some citrus. Some peel, excellent balance. Tap at Churchkey.
