Slight hazy gold blonde with fine creamy white head. Great herbal bitter hop flavor, mostly grass and green herbal with some grapefruit pith and hints of lemon. A bit earthy and herbal-green on the palate, slightly parching. Some phenolics and fruit linger in the assault of hop dryness. A bit of cat pee and meadow, not easy to befriend but I like.

Smell is pretty light here. There’s some musky, grass- like bitter. Pours pale blond with a little lacing. A touch of sourness in the finish. Its a little disappointing, honestly. Had higher hopes here. On tap at volos.

Draught at The Toronto Festival of Beer, July 26. Pours a cloudy yellow with an average size diminishing frothy white head. Aroma of grain, citrus, yeast and herbs. Flavour is yeasty, herbal and citrusy along with a touch of spice and a very bitter finish. Pretty good, easy to drink.

Pours a cloudy straw yellow with a nice fizzy white foam and loads of floating yeasties. Aroma is citrus hop, yeast and straw. Taste is very dry, lots of belgian yeast characteristics, citrus hop with a sharp tang of lemon. Very nice beer. Thanks to my brother in law for acquiring this for me.

Sampled at THEFESTIVAL with Andrew right before getting kicked out for good. Pours a blond golden body with nice white lacing/head. Aroma is spicy and yeasty. Mouthfeel is medium with nice carbonation with notes of yeast, spice, wheat, light corn and a dry finish.

In short: A refreshing doughy blonde ale of some kind. Very good.
How: Bottle 500ml, consumed
The look: Cloudy yellow blonde body topped by a medium white head with medium retention
In long: Nose is yeasty, fruity notes of peaches, lemongrass, lemon zest. Taste is bread dough, rye bread, spicy dry grass, dandelions, cattail, lemon muffin, herbs. This beer is like a doughy fruity muffin (tropical fruits) leading to a dry finish. Short after-taste where This is the type of beer that manages to be both nourishing and refreshing. What a stupid name for a beer (Tabarnak is a quebecois slang swear word), sometimes I’m so ashamed of my half-french-Canadian heritage that I don’t tell anyone that the other half is french-Canadian as well.

[4437-20120602] Bottle. Mild grassy mould yeast. Hazy, light brown yellow body with a medium-lasting creamy white head and some lumpy bits sunk to the bottom. Buttery grass yeast flavour. Medium body. Interesting to sample. (6/3/7/3/14) 3.3
