Amber with a bit of cloud. Nice hop nose. Refreshing and hoppy. A little dusty and yeasty. Could drink all day. Subtle and perfect for the beach.

draft, antoher very light, moderatey hoppy IPA. Some wheat and light malt flavors, moderate yeast (not an american clean yeast) - slightly belgian. Good hop crisp bite at end that is quickly dissipating.

Very fitting name for this brew as it brings me back to the long forgotten "beach days". Pours a light hazy amber with a large foamy white head. This beer smells very tropical and citrusy. Aromas of grapefruit, cedar, and mango lead the way here. Has a medium body with a slick mouthfeel, goes down easy and is very refreshing. There’s a beautiful balance of sweet and bitter with a nice malty caramel backbone. Definitely a beer for the summer.

Bottle from Halles St-Jean. Aroma: citrus, peaches, pines. App: clear copper with medium frothy head. Taste and palate: average to high carbonation, medium body, medium bitterness. Overall: a good IPA, well balanced. Aroma is really good, taste is good. Another good beer from TD, not as good as surfeurs apocalypso but still good.

A stunning beauty of style, this IPA’s devilishly handsome appearance begs you to dive in deep, light copper with a tightly bubbled froth. Luckily, it delivers heartily with a scent of citrus and tropical fruit hops, some caramel sweetness and cereal graininess. These flavours are all present for the tastebuds in this mid carbonated and medium-full feeling hop-snack. I was able to detect a bit of boozy taste, not harsh amounts but enough to feel like you’re getting a warm up.

I would go to Shawi Beach if it involves drinking these all day in the sun. Pours a hazy amber with a massive frothy head. Aroma is of mango, tropical hops, and pine. Tastes of mango, caramel, pine, and citrus. Has a medium chewy body with average carbonation. and good lacing. Has a nice floral bitterness and is a very refreshing IPA.

Enjoyed this on an unseasonably warm Sunday in the fall, while making sushi and apple/cranberry pies. Looks very pretty in a Duvel glass.

(1237-130914)
