Rastacouere (5418), Montréal, Quebec, Canada Feb 17, 2008 By far my favourite glass in this late November 2007 Sunday evening at the brewpub. Fabuloud off-white head climbs 1-inch high around the glass sides. Huge rockiness. Muddy dark orange colour. Biscuity, almost earthy roastiness. Nutty and gently hoppy profile enhanced into earthy, leafy undertones. The roast remains very soft and stays mostly in the toast department. Delicately done. Social tea cookies and clean, bready, fresh cereals. Creamy texture, full-bodied. Yummy, limited wheat influence, structured toasty malts and no clashing roastiness - subtlety and freshness. Terrific dunkelweizen. beerbuzzmontreal (2769), Montreal, Quebec, Canada Nov 11, 2007 Pours an opaque, brownish amber color with a medium, creamy, offwhite head. Very good aroma and flavor of bananas, cloves, yeast, wheat with mild roastyness. The body is medium and creamy. It’s very pleasant and complex, it’is one of the best dunkelweizens I’ve had yet.
