Clear copper pour with a thin white head. Mild aroma of bananas and cloves. Interesting flavor of bananas and cloves. The body is medium with a creamy texture and lively carbonation. Very interesting for the style, a solid achievement.

Rather rare that a kristallweizen is based on a dunkelweizen...<br /> -Clovey phenols undermine the caramel sweetness.<br /> -Smooth cereals move amidst a mild weizen character.<br /> -Body is well-fed, surprisingly so for the style.<br /> <br /> <i>What if you dig deeper?</i><br /> -The dry finish isn’t as spicy as it could be.<br /> -Bananas do show up amidst the caramel; this is pretty sweet overall.<br /> -A filtered dunkelweizen...why not!
