duff (5407), Sydney, Australia, Surrey, England May 29, 2007 Cask@London Drinker 07. Some sulfur and green apple in the nose. Probably suggesting that it wasn’t as fresh as it could have been. Palate is light/limp/weak. Fairly balanced between the hops and the malt. Some OK earthy bitterness in the finish. MesandSim (4623), Highgate, Greater London, England Apr 20, 2007 A Mes rate:
Gravicask @ London Drinker. As soon as someone mentioned tea that was it. I hate tea and there is definite tea-ee-ness in this. Yak. harrisoni (5474), Ashford, Kent, England Apr 13, 2007 Cask gravity London Drinker BF 07. Decent bitter, bit of tea, actually quite a lot of tea. Some bitterness, bit of toffee. The tea though is too much (especially if you don’t drink or like tea). reakt (855), Greater London, England Apr 9, 2007 Updated: Sep 2, 2007Cask @ The London Drinker. Looks like apple juice. Smells like apple juice with slightly floral hoppy notes. Thin and watery with tastes of hops, malt and lemon. Long, bittersweet finish.
