hughie (2415), Bedford, Bedfordshire, England Aug 15, 2008 Cask at Green Man, Ashbourne, Derbyshire, after a days rambling in the Staffordshire Moorlands. Gold. Gitric hop aroma. Grassy taste with quite sharp bitterness. Half decent golden. omhper (10950), Stockholm, Sweden Aug 28, 2007 Cask at Peterborough Beer Fest. Hazy pale yellow. Light hay aroma. Medium sweet and light bodied. Somewhat papery and mushy at first feels crisper and tighter towards the salty, grassy finish. An easy going beer. Mads Langtved (2246), København K, Denmark Sep 3, 2005 Cask condition, GBBF 2005.
Very refreshing, mild and soft. Fruity with strong hints of peaches. imdownthepub (4250), Banbury, Oxfordshire, England Jan 18, 2004 Cask Conditioned at The Bentley Brook Inn, Fenny Bentley, Derbys. A pale gold beer with lasting bubbly head. This is a light refreshing hoppy (Goldings!) beer with a background malty sweetness. Well balanced and a good long finish.
