Pours a deep amber with an off-white head. Aroma of tea and lightly roasted nuts. Taste is nutty and malty very rich without being to sweet. Just enough hops to balance out the malt. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

[3027-20100629] Tap. Honey wheat malt aroma. Clear, golden amber body with a quick foamy light grey head. Toasted honey multi-grain bread malt flavour has a great long toasted grain aftertaste. Medium-full body. Good.

Good dark color nice use of malt and hops. This really had a good hops flavor and added flavors to make this a neat Altbier.

12-oz. bottle. Appears to be either an alias or a re-name of their existing altbier, except with more Marshall Mathers flavoring. Two altbiers for one PNW brewery just seems like too many, anyway. Pours a murky dark brown with a wispy and very trnasient grayish head. Zzzz. Big earthy, slightly peppery, wet-leaf-y nose. Bold! Light watery body. Earth, wet leavess, a little toast on the mid-palate, dryingly roasty finish. Seems to pick up some iced tea in there somewhere along the way, but not too much; definitely not out of balance with it. Really a nice clean, drinkable effort.

Murky coppery brown, short white head. Smells of toasted wheat bread, grassy, earthy, a little spicy. More of that toasty bread flavor, a little doughy, not overly sweet but with some caramel quality. Slightly bitter on the finish, a little earthy. Seems like a good food beer.

Pours a darker amber that’s slightly cloudy. Minimal head. An interesting taste to it. Rich with a few hops and malty flavors.

Solid amber body with a thin white head. Light cereal malt sweetness. A tad nutty with some roasted bits. Dry earthy finish. Good beer.

Dark amber coloured beer, with a very nice thick, creamy off white head. Nice aromas of corn/oat/cereal a wee bit of toast. Semis sweet creamy malty taste, at first then dissapates and becomes a tad more bitter,nutty..hazel nuts. Realativly thin mouthfeel about it, but does have its moments. A nice simple beer, OK.

Bottle poured a clear brown with a lasting creamy tan head. Aromas of earthiness, burnt carmel and light cocoa. Palate was light to medium bodied and crisp. Flavors of earthiness, toasted malt, light carmel and a hint of cocoa with a crisp lingering malty finish.
