Pours a thin amber with little head. Nice fruity aroma (apple) and malt-forward, robust in its grains. Crisp hops never overpower those warm grains - this feels as if it’s pushing amber territory in some ways - but the beer has an enjoyable snap to the finish nonetheless, and certainly drinks smoothly.

Oct 6, 2008 On tap at Belmont Station in Portland, OR--Poured a golden (slightly amber) body with a medium white head. Zesty, crisp and sessionable. Nothing special, but a great summer beer to kick back with. Mild bready quality that bites with Euro hops in the finish. Eh.

Oct 3, 2008 Draught @ the brewpub. Pours a clear golden color with a small white head. Has a malty slightly bready grainy aroma. Malty bready flavor wit hsome hoppy hints. Has a malty grainy finish with some bitterness in the aftertaste.

Mar 27, 2008 Deep gold colour with light sparkle and a thin head. Herbal hop nose has a light grassiness and thin baguettey malts underpinning. Crisp, moderate bitterness with light caramel accent to the bready pale malts. Not bad, not bad. Deep golden orange color with great white head that laces quite well.
Very spicy and hoppy, saison-like aroma; with floral and grassy notes, some graininess.
Good malty body with touch of sugar-like sweetness up front that’s effortlessly balanced by a very floral bitter hop finish.
Soft and smooth mouthfeel despite strong carbonation. Great domestic Pils!
