COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A thirst quencher of Alpine proportions, Leavenworth Light is generously flavorful with precious few calories. Its secret? To ample portions of Pilsen and Ashburne Mild malts we add just a touch of Munich malt. These three provide a distinct malt foundation that’s long on flavor, yet remarkably short of calories and carbohydrates. We then hop with US Goldings. What results is well balanced, superbly flavorful bier. But calories? Fat chance: Leavenworth Light has just 75. On trail or off, its crisply malty flavor places Leavenworth Light among the best outdoor refreshments. Prost!

(Draft: Fishbowl Brewpub in Olympia, WA) Well, had to try the Light, just to make sure I sampled the full lineup today, and of course, it’s predictable that this is a very light flavored, light bodied beer. Lightly sweet and grainy, but there is a slight hoppiness in the finish, which is more than I can say for many light beers. Mildly grainy nose, no hops though. Light bodied, but not all that watery, so that’s a plus too. Pale straw color, slightly hazy in appearance. The small white head fades to a thin ring without leaving any lace on the glass. Certainly not my style of beer, but for a light beer, this is probably above average.

Pale yellow color, small white head. Light malty, metallic aroma. Light-bodied. Crisp, slightly citrusy front. Then pale malts and lemon. Very light, maybe with food ok.

Aroma – Light lager aroma with a tad smattering of hops.
Appearance – Light yellow color, little head and clear.
Flavor – This had a light flavor. It was a god summer beer and will work for the crowd that does not know beer.
Palate – Light Mouthfeel with a good over all dry finish.
Overall – A nice easy to drink light lager. Good job.

Straw colour. Hazy. Aroma of slightly herbal, grassy hops. Slightly grainy. Bland baguette crust malts. Decent execution of a boring concept.

This had a somewhat soapy hoppiness, some grainy maltiness, very light as I expected. Just not for my palate.
