2.1 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20 rickyleepotts (63) - Scottsdale, Arizona, USA - FEB 18, 2013
When Total Wine & More dropped the price of this to $1.99 a bottle (for a bomber), I grabbed one. It has been sitting in my fridge for weeks, and last night I finally drank it. It didn’t get better in time, that’s for sure. It was just OK, lots of malt forward, and a boring finish. I actually poured half the bottle down the drain. Maybe I will try it again next year, but this beer is easy to forget.
3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 Drake (6600) - Ivy, Virginia, USA - NOV 28, 2012
Bomber from Total Wine Virginia Beach. Pours a slightly hazy auburn color with a large foamy tan head. Decent head retention. Aroma of floral hops and caramel malts. The taste is nutty, grainy caramel malts, stone fruits and a mildy bitter hop finish. Medium bodied. Fairly generic.

Another beer by Fish Brewing that is being sold @ Total Wine in Delaware. Crimson colored medium bodied O-fest that is lightly hopped and caramel malt flavor. Enjoyed a bomber by the fire pit listening to the World Series on a crisp Fall evening.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 5000 (5000) - Hardened Liver, Washington, USA - OCT 11, 2012
Bottle:   Fiery amber, large frothy tannish head, decent lacing.   Strong malty nose, biscuity, nutty, with a bit of mealiness... make that a lot of mealiness on the nose.   Very mealy and malty on the tongue.   Straight forward, not as sweet as it deserves to be.   Stale biscuit and barnish grassy flavors on the tongue.   Moderate to full body and mouthfeel.   Mealy finish.   Very much an average Oktoberfest.   Needs to be sweeter and with a bit more maltiness instead of the mealy background that it has.
4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 16/20 SSSteve (3392) - Atlanta, Georgia, USA - OCT 8, 2012
22oz bottle. clear ruby with a small head. fresh lychee-like hop aroma. nice fruity hop flavor. medium bodied, estery, and gelatinous. a very nice beer!..but it’s like an amber or red ale more than an oktoberfest...hence oktoberfest ale.
3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 Cybercat (2519) - Georgia, USA - OCT 8, 2012
Malty aroma has an undertone of spiced apple and just a hint of caramel. Pours a clear, dark mahogany with a decent light tan head. Flavor is mainly malty with caramel and fruity hints, a bitter undertone and a touch of woody hops. Texture has about average body, not much fizz. Overall, fair to middlin’ and good for a party.
3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 patricks110 (1259) - Alberta, CANADA - OCT 8, 2012
Very light, boring brew but a tasty little session lager regardless. The pour is a bland golden copper in color with a thick foamy white head and tons of carbonation. The nose is grainy and lightly hopped with a few citrus notes. The flavour is rather one toned and boring with a big grainyness. Overall, very plain.

nothing fancy simple, unpretentious and subtle. Caramel notes in the nose and the aftertaste. Subtle hop flavor.
