3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
330 ml bottle picked up at Sam’s in Beruit, Lebanon. Pours a nice yellow with a nice white head. Aroma is a mellow malt with some faint spices. Taste is also very mellow but tasty all at the same time. Palate is like the rest mellow but interesting. Another fine brew in this most unusual land for such.

2.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
Pale yellow, short lasting white foam head. Light barley aroma, taste of mass produced lager beer. OK as country tick, not to be repeated for drinking. (Velp 201412)

Generic lager. Not much more to say. Not as sweet as some, but lacking any character.

2.3 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Clean fresh Lager with Noble hops (Saaz?). White head with dwindling lacing. I try to avoid plain lagers, but this is sooo much better than Corona or Coors or Carlsberg or ....

2.2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
This is a middling lager that I had served at a Lebanese restaurant, which is the only reason you’d want to try it, to get that local flavour. It can’t be differentiated from any other lager out there, has no distinctive twist to make it want you to seek it out, and is largely forgotten afterward unless you’re a beer rater. So I’ve answered your question already: you’ll either try it at a restaurant because it’s the only lager on the menu,or you’ll try it to nab another beer rating.

3.2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Had this nice surprise at a Lebanese Restaurant called Mezze near the Moulin Rouge in Paris. For what it is, it’s a really crisp and refreshing lager. Very light, yet not like a "lite" beer (which is usually little more than club soda). Pale golden, minimal head. Balanced hop/malt, non-intrustive flavor, and a nice cool finish. One of the best beers to cool off a hot day.

2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 13/20
Pale golden pour, scant white head. Malts, grain, grass, hint of lemon. Decent, refreshing lager which would be great cold on a hot Beirut day.

3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Bottle. Pours a mostly clear, pale amber with a medium white head. Aroma is citrusy hops, caramel. Taste is that of a typical pale lager but made better with some more citrus notes. Finish is sweet. A little lacking in carbonation, light bodied. Not bad at all, better than expected.
