3.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle @ Moliere, Bergen (thanks to Palme who spotted this tick for me, otherwise I’d probably not go there :-D) Pours a dark golden body with a small white head. Aroma is dark caramel and pale malts with a touch of grain, honey and hints of water melon. Taste is mild caramel, dusty hops, syrup and hints of grain. Some alcohol in the finish. Medium carbonated and pretty smooth for an SPL - well balanced and not bad for its genre.

Heavy sort of beer. Far from smooth, but in a way I oddly enjoyed.

ABV is actually 6,2%, not 7% - it’s hard to call such thing a strong lager. Anyway, it’s suprisingly good - honey colour, thick, partially lasting head. Nice slight hops aroma, tastes good - not watery (unlike the usual Lech), malt & hops flavour; maybe slightly too harsh. Well balanced, nice suprise.

11/08 0.5 l can from a gas station near Warszawa. Poured golden body with bigger head. Strong dusty and malty aroma with some alcoholic notes. Flavor is fine, much better than I’ve expected, grainy, pleasantly bitterish, slightly hopped in lemon way. Alcohol is not really felt. Pretty light bodied but fine... Short finish, sweetish. Fine and for what it is even refreshing during summer. Fine enough.

.5l bottle @ Moliere, Bergen. Pours your average clear golden lagerwith a solid almost fluffy and lasting white head. Aroma is light malty and grainy, notes of some light fruity yeast and a hint of alcohol. Average so soft carbonation, medium-bodied and it has a thin oily mouthfeel. Flavors are a bit fruitier then your average pilsner. Light citrus toward the finish and a small hint of alcohol and some bitter hops in the aftertaste. I actually like this genre and this was not horrible in any way.

Good strong lager. Not so good as Krolewskie Mocny, but not bad.

UPDATED: AUG 21, 2003 Amber with a nice head. A very good appearance. Aroma is a little yeasty and with a little corn. A sweet, clean flavor with a nice and not too bitter finish. This one does not taste of alcohol though its 7%, and thats a good thing.

Aroma is bready, with some dough. A golden beer with a rather nice head. Flavor starts with pepper, but turns into something sweet.

0.5l can courtesy of and shared with heavy who brought it from Poland (thanks!)
14.8°. Poured a nice golden body with a big white head. Dusty hoppy nose, weak malt and alcohol. Grain too. Sweet malty taste, alcohol present. Grain, acidic lemony hop. Ok ESL.. Not really unpleasant and slightly warming. Fine enough for the style.

330ml bottle pours a golden color with a small white head that leaves very little lacing behind. Aroma is light toasted malts and mild grassy hops. Taste is light malty sweetness with a modest grassy hop bitterness in the finish. Light to medium body and light carbonation. A decent beer for the style and good to drink on a cool spring day.
