Light bitter taste. White foam, stays for 1 minute. Light-golden colour. Nothing special but not bad for a commercial beer.

Aug 2006: from BA. This was purchased in a Pakistani owned supermarket in Telford, Shropshire, England. So many Polish workers in the area, their beers are appearing all over, I shall have great fun finding and reviewing them! Large green bottle (500ml) with oval green label, stating it is brewed with natural ingredients (in English). No mention the brewery is owned by a South African Global Brewer. I tried it in a blind tasting with Glosch, Miller Genuine Draft and Warsteiner Premium Verum (Pilsner). It came second behind the Warsteiner. Darkest of the four beers, it was deep blonde in colour with a good clear, clean head, which stayed for a long time, clinging on to the side of the pint sleeved glass until the end. It smelt of lager/pilsner, so no great shakes there. The taste however was fine, more body that your normal pilsner, with a hoppy, dry aftertaste which lingered awhile. Overall a good feel about it, I am not a big Pilsner/lager drinker, but this did enough to please me and I will be drinking it again, not regular, but if it is hot, I am thirsty and it is cold in my fridge.

500ml can. Pint glass - voluminous white soap-sudsy head. Diminishes quickly to modest lace. Truly unremarkable aroma, taste and forgettable in every regard. Wishy-washy pale yellow (Lovibond 4). So-so taste: slight bitter/sweet with a slight bitter finish. Medium carbonation. Little to no lace. Already said more than its worth.

April 19 2012. 500ml can poured clear yellow into pint glass. Soapy 1" head fades to ring and leaves thin blotchy lacing. Moderate carbonation. Aroma is of tame sweet bread and hops. Flavour is subtle and well balanced. Watery palate makes easy to drink. Clean finish no aftertaste. A great beer, or a good polish beer.

500ml bottle pours a clear yellow with frothy white head. Smells like a "skunky" beer. Aroma is fairly bland with slight caramel malt and pils hops. Taste is slightly bitter. Texture is watery without much carbonation either. At least it has a clean finish without the grassy aftertaste I feared it might have. I agree with another reviewer here who calls this a Polish Heineken, but slightly better.

Bottle from some Polish corner shop in west London. Reminds me of a night in Krakow which left Muggins face down on a wooden table. It’s a fairly standard Polish fighting lager, pale yellow colour, pils hoppy aroma, slightly metallic in the bottle as these central European pils can be, thin body and no finish. Better than many mass produced lagers but still pretty average.
