1.9 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20 sirPino (883) - Zawiercie/Sosnowiec, - DEC 31, 2007
Pours bright straw in colour, very bright, clear, light and like water. Poery tea with lemon in appearance. Head is wattery white to bright grey, a lot of bubbles, quickly decarbonating and not much carbonation of the body. Head is quickly disappearing and the beer becomes rapidly flat. Not that fresh aroma, considerable skunkness aroma, bready smell with carbonated nose, some hint of
malty sweetnes and citrus but fainting quite quickly.
Flavour: grainy, citrus, some hoppy bitterness, very low (poor) malty base as for a premium lager, quite far from pilsner, strong notes of carbonation in flawour and a majority of water! Vary flat beer becomes slightly toungy, a typical Polish macro-commercial beer of mass production for Yuppies knowing more about fashion for bottle and commercials of beer than real taste. Easily forgetable, good for chain drinking to get shit-faced or for a hot days to drink it quickly, definitely not for glorification. When decarbonated stinks terribly with dirty water.
Palate: is flat, a slight bitternes, lemon and tonguy finish but definitely with skunky aftertaste, prety nasty. Poor popular macro shaping the idea of masses that the more poor the beer is it is still famous. Still better than Peroni Nasrto Azzurro.

3.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 BlackHaddock (1709) - Shropshire, ENGLAND - MAY 2, 2012
Aug 2006: from BA. This was purchased in a Pakistani owned supermarket in Telford, Shropshire, England.
So many Polish workers in the area, their beers are appearing all over, I shall have great fun finding and reviewing them!
Large green bottle (500ml) with oval green label, stating it is brewed with natural ingredients (in English). No mention the brewery is owned by a South African Global Brewer.
I tried it in a blind tasting with Glosch, Miller Genuine Draft and Warsteiner Premium Verum (Pilsner). It came second behind the Warsteiner.
Darkest of the four beers, it was deep blonde in colour with a good clear, clean head, which stayed for a long time, clinging on to the side of the pint sleeved glass until the end.
It smelt of lager/pilsner, so no great shakes there.
The taste however was fine, more body that your normal pilsner, with a hoppy, dry aftertaste which lingered awhile.
Overall a good feel about it, I am not a big Pilsner/lager drinker, but this did enough to please me and I will be drinking it again, not regular, but if it is hot, I am thirsty and it is cold in my fridge.
2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20 Digital_Aura (79) - Ontario, CANADA - APR 30, 2012
500ml can. Pint glass - voluminous white soap-sudsy head. Diminishes quickly to modest lace. Truly unremarkable aroma, taste and forgettable in every regard. Wishy-washy pale yellow (Lovibond 4). So-so taste: slight bitter/sweet with a slight bitter finish. Medium carbonation. Little to no lace. Already said more than its worth.
