(Canned) A Polish lager that you can locate anywhere -cause Poles are everywhere but Polish beer that’s worth drinking ,like Zyweic Porter is hard to find. Big white mountain like head above yellow liquid. The nose is very malt accented -with a little grassy hop activity . On the palate its pleasant . Sweet notes ,a tad bready with honey notes , subtle dry grassy hops are an undercurant.

Watery, not much carbonation, simple, easy to drink. The perfect party beer, one of the worst degustation beer. Simple pilsener...

Can. I like these Polish beers. Most of the ones I’ve tried are full flavoured and are easy drinkable and thirst quenching. This one is also great on it’s own. Simple, easy. affordable.. good.

can. Pale yellow, pretty decent head. Aroma of grains, corn. Taste is thin, pretty watery, again mostly grain and corn, very little hop. Best part of this beer is the patriotic polish name.

500ml Bottle from Tesco:
Pours a very clear, straw yellow colour with a white head that is the size of a thumb and foamy in texture before settling to a soapy lacing after about thirty seconds then disappearing completely.
Mild on the nose with a hint of corn and some vegetable adjunct, there is also a slight bit of grain and some skunky aromas right at the end.
Lager hops to begin with and a little bit of sweetness that is coupled with some grain and a hint of skunk. I can also detect a hint of perfume which was a surprise to me, along with some floral notes and grassy hops. A good mix of aromas but still only average on the nose.
Light but not watery on the palate and it brings a nice tang with it. It is a well carbonated beer without being too gassy.
An average pale lager that was drinkable but isn’t one I’m likely to go back to any time soon, the taste was okay but had to many things going on and wasn’t well enough balanced for my liking.
