Cask Handpump at the Fighting Cock, Bradford 07/12/2008 Creamy head. Hop and malt aromas. Mid brown coloured smooth on the palate and hoppy with some bitterness and dryness in a crisp nutty malt finish.

Dark brown color. Aroma of <i>barley coffee</i> (available in Italy, for example) quite nice. It has a chocolatey flavor and some caramel, quite simple.

A Mes rate. Gravicask at Pigs Ear. Almost black with a good beige head and excellent condition. Fruity and slightly smoky malt aroma with light burnt toasty notes. Similar flavour with some good bitterness and really good balance. One of the best I’ve had from Leeds.

Handpulled cask at the Locomotive, Wellingborough. Dark copper with an off white head. Rich tasting for strength with nutty and chocolatey notes in a predominately malty base.
