Cask conditioned at Whitelocks City & Luncheon Club. Gold with slight head. Strong wheetabix flavour with some toffee. A light hop emerges later. Reasonable without hitting any heights.

Cask handpull, The Crown, Stockport. Greenish pale gold, fine white drapes. Wholemeal bread aroma (would probably say cat biscuit if it wasnt in such perfect nick) with some discreet leafy hop. Squirts of T-beer-type lime, lemon flavoured boiled sweets, white toast. Cashew and Rich Tea linger. Simple but I like it.

Cask Conditioned handpump The Pub Leicester. A blonde beer with a white bubbly head and lace. A malty fruity beer with seemingly low hop levels. Tainted by a little diacetyl throughout.

Cask (handpump) at the Great British Beer Festival Day 2, August 2009. Very pale gold colour. Not a lot of aroma. Quite dry on the palate. Some sharp hops and a fair amount of bitterness. Crisp and refreshing. A decent enough light quaffer but not particularly distinctive.

Rune (5039) - Tromsø, NORWAY - SEP 12, 2009
Another clear golden English bitter from cask at GBBF 09. This one has got a modest aroma of fruits and a moderate, rounded taste of lemony hops. Mild hop bitterness on the swallow. Feels quite good in the mouth, a bit lightweight, though (Earls Court, 05.08.2009).
