Cask-conditioned at the Bag O’Nails beer festival, Bristol 16/11/07. Golden coloured with a moderate white head. Slightly sweet malt aroma with some grassy hops. Flavour began malty with a bitter finish. Good.

Pale blonde, not much aroma, earthy bitterness and sweet shortbread malt. Slightly metallic in the finish. Some citrus in the finish.

Bottle, pale light bitter, citrus nose, quite bitter at first, medium bodied, not complex in flavour. Designed to be drinkable from the bottle as well as a glass.

Bottle in Malmaison Leeds. Looked like a lager, pale yellow gold with a white head. Taste was a hint of malt with a pleasant fruity hop finish. It was like a decent ale version of a lager, nice and drinkable but little more.

Clear light to medium yellow orange color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to white head. Aroma is light moderate malty, toasted, overripped apple. Flavor is moderate sweet and light bitter with a average duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is flat. [20100118]

Cask. A yellow beer with a thin off-white head. The aroma has notes of fruit and malt. The flavor is sweet with strong notes of fruit as well as medium notes of malt, leading to a dry bitter finish.

Cask conditioned handpull at Dragon Inn, Worcester. Pale gold, thin white head. Chilli beer I’d say. Spicy hop at least. Very spicy on the finish of a decent pale ale.

Sweet aroma. Clear golden coloured and hoppy with a sweet honey flavour. Crisp and slightly bitter dry malt finish.
