Pint at ’Spoons in Newcastle. Looked good, clear golden yellow with a crisp white head. Citrus dominant in the nose and flavour. Full bodied, with a powerful bitter finish. A bit too familiar to be truly great, but if I went into a pub, and there was nothing else I was more interested in, I wouldn’t be disappointed.

A very pleasant pint of this today in Alvechurch. The beer was a nice dark yellow colour, and had a fantastic citrusy nose. The taste did not disappoint either, with a fruity taste with great bitter aftertaste which lasted right to the end. I wouldnt go out of my way to find it, but would happily drink it if it was available in my local.

Rather pretty appearance, agree with the other reviewer benji on the caramel aroma and oily mouth feel, but there is no strength to the flavours. Hardly bitter at all and practically no taste of hops, flavours are a slightly bitter caramel, but hardly noticeable. Bitterish, unpleasant aftertaste.

On cask at the Rook and Gaskill. Pours a light golden colour with a fair white head. Aroma of lemon, pine, grassy hops and caramel. Similar flavours with mild carbonation, light CO2 prickle and an oily mouth-feel. OK.
