3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 HogTownHarry (5655) - Toronto (Harbourfront), Ontario, CANADA - AUG 24, 2012
Hazy light amber with a small creamy lasting offwhite head. Odd aroma, apple and peach, grassy - really smelled like a watered-down heathery light and sweet Highland single malt; very odd indeed. Taste is even more odd - instead of scotch I get a hint of aniseed and golden syrup - mostly sweetish grassy character, no alcohol intrusion. Slick, weakly carbonated, with a lightly grassy and fruity finish. Pretty nice even if it is all over the map.
