Cask handpull, The Brewery Tap, Leeds, 19/04/11. Pale gold draped with lace. Buttered, mouldering orange aroma with cherry lolly hints; pith and lime as it warms. Slight but pleasant with ice cream soda and lemon barley notes; cherry and orange peel, sizeable bitterness, biscuit dips. OK, but preferred the little side dish of hops served with it- some of which are still in my pocket a week later.

Cask, 15/4/11, Leeds Brewery, UK. Medium gold, fresh peach and apricot aroma. Mild syrupy jam flavour, lingering apricot finish. A bit too sweet but interesting none the less.
