Cask (gravity dispense) at the Bricklayers Arms Yorkshire Beer Festival on 24 February 2011. Labelled as York Gold but I guess this is the same beer - ABVs match. Gold. Very slight haze. Loose white head. Good condition. Rather fruity aroma. Fresh and fruity on the palate. Some citrus. Perhaps a little underpowered. Clean and decent.

Cask, handpump at The White Swan, Leeds, W.Yorks 18.03.12 in company of dad & Barry Pours gold, looks excellent, cyrstal clear in fact. However looks can be a tad deceiving as it comes across as all to safe and a little bland, There are hops here but overall it is lacking in a hoppy drive and bitterness coming across a touch thin, there is some fruit and whilst it is far from a bad beer I was hoping for a lot better.
