Cask Handpump at Wilkie’s Tavern, Warrington 30/11/2003 Golden coloured fruity cherry flavour. Slightly bitter dry finish.

Bottle Conditioned. BBE Dec 04. A goldy yellow colour rather than the red I was expecting. Rhubarb aroma with an unfortunate touch of damp cardboard. Little in the way of flavour, though I can detect the cherry notes along with an earthy bitterness typical of British hops. Subtle and delicate is I suppose one way of describing this. A pleasant summer drink.
