Golden coloured pale and fruity. Some bitterness in a dry finish. Spiesy (2333), Global Citizen, Greater London, England Oct 4, 2004 Bottled bright, from the St. Albans, Beer Festival, 2004.
Golden with a very slight haze. Full bitter hop aroma and decent bitter hop flavour. A very English, not American Pale ale, that’s why its listed as bitter. imdownthepub (4250), Banbury, Oxfordshire, England Mar 14, 2004 Bottle Conditioned. This is a hazy gold colour, as mottled as a Monet with a fluffy cloudy sky for a head, and a big dollop of wet yeast. It is a dry, fragrant beer, sharp flavours and challenging, a good IPA with no move towards malty sweetness. I was impressed with the flavour of fresh hop for a bottle, overall pretty good. leaparsons (4058), Leicester, Leicestershire, England Sep 26, 2003 I had the bottle conditioned version. Light cloudy gold in colour this has a sweet and pine aroma. Flavours are pine too with a light malt body. The finish is dry with some bitterness. Perfectly reasonable it is a little thin but that is reflected in the low alcohol percentage.
