Medium head upon pouring with some bitterness. Not bad but a fairly bland and average bitter. leaparsons (4058), Leicester, Leicestershire, England Mar 31, 2006 Bottle conditioned. Amber with an off-white head. Aromas are earthy dry hops, tea and sweet pear. Flavours are lightly fruity with dry tea. Toffee malts with earthy hops towards the finish. Quite prickly on the tongue. Grapefruit and pine bitterness at the finish. Very dry on the aftertaste. A decent traditional bitter.
