Very lively bottle which I notice has a best before date over 2 months old. Poured a very light, almost largery, colour and had lots of sediment. so much so that I had to be extremely careful in pouring but still lost more than I would have liked due to its excessive head. A most pleasant floral taste but not noticeably hoppy and like the previous rater I could find no trace of malt. OK but not brilliant.

Bottle. Light golden colour with a small head. Lots of sediment. Intense floral hop aroma and no perceptible trace of malt. Citrusy hoppy taste with only a slight degree of bitterness. As near to a cask ale experience as you’ll get from a bottle.

Cask (handpump) at the Bulls Head, Leek. Gold, thin and dull. Some inappropriate diacetyl on the nose. Flabby mouthfeel. The Cascade hops make little impact. I would suspect the conditioning but in the brewery tap there’s no excuse for serving beer in dodgy nick. Drinkable, but not impressed. Now 3.8%.

Handpulled at the Cask & Cutler, Sheffield. Lemon and lime nose, clean lemon body, nice and juicy.
