The head is ok, the body brown-red. it smells malty, sweet a bit sugary-alcoholic. The taste is very sweet, citrus, to sweet a bit like sparkling wine, later a bit more creamy, still sweet, a bit roasty, darkmalty. Overall medium. 11/10/9/10/-/9

From tap (PINT BBF 09): Clear, deep ruby amber coloured, small beige lacy foam; wuite restrained nose, of burnt malt and caramel with a subtle fruitiness underneath; light sweet-bitter flavour, very light bodied for a beer of 6.5%; shorter sweetish caramelly and bitter finish. Not a real gem.........

MiP (13599) - Sřnderborg, DENMARK - OCT 29, 2008
Draught at De Bekeerde Suster as Leeuw Bockbier. Weak raisiny aroma. Almost black colour, clear red shine. Nice creamy brown head. The flavour is sweet, caramelly, winegummy, teaish, fruity. Has some iron, metal, vitamin pill. Nicely bready mouthfeel and finish. Strange but nice.

Bottle. Nice dark brown appearance, good head. Aroma of chocolate, roasted malts and some skunkiness. Taste is watery, metallic, roasted malts, sugar, some skunk. Not very good actually.
