It’s hard to not like this beer, because there’s not that much flavor to it. A typical lager.

@Backlog gouden met witte kraag, graan en mout in de neus, lichte mouten, en lichte bittertheid, redelijk algemeen allemaal, te drinken

Bottle. Average hoppy and citrus smell. Yellow body and a small frothy white head which is nearly diminishing. The flavour starts bitter and ends relatively sweet, only a short duration. The beer is rather light and dry, the carbonation is very lively. Well it’s better than Heineken...

Had on-tap at a local pub in Maastricht. It has a straw yellow color with a nice head & carbonation. The head did not last long as the bartender whacked most of it off before serving it. The aroma was a generic beer not quite stale. The taste was crisp with a slight bitterness. It has a fairly light body and is somewhat refreshing. This is a typical dutch brew.

Draught at Cafe Gollem, Amsterdam on 18th March 2010. Clear gold with white decaying head. instant nutty kick - peanut - otherwise crisp and dry with grass hop notes. Light and easy to drink. Rated and reviewed as a light Pilsner lager, and not "in comparison" to real ales, etc.
