Commercial Description:
The Belgian Framboises, born of the traditional kriek with cherries, is made of raspberries from our region. This fruity beer that appeared in the 1920’s will astonish you by its coolness and singular taste. Always served chiled, between 2°C and 4°C.

On bottle at beer festivel. A full bottle is a waste of money. Way to sweet, only a good smell, but beer is almost undrinkable because of the syrup. Had a few sips and had enough of it.

Bottle 33cl.
Clear medium red orange color with a small to average, fizzy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate cnady like raspberry syrup. Flavor is moderate to heavy raspberry syrupy sweet with a average duration. Body is light to medium, texture is watery to oily, carbonation is soft. [20090307]

It is brown-red and it has a small, creamy head. The aroma has notes of raspberries and other berries and a light sourness. The flavour has sweetness and a light fruity sourness and notes of strawberries, raspberries and other fruits. It is refreshing and uncomplicated, but also much sweeter than I expect a lambic to be.

Bottle, 3.5%. Candylike raspberry aroma. Cloudy grey, light red colour. No head. The flavour is quite sweet, with some candy character. Rough bitterness, not suiting the softdrink-like quality.

Bottled (2000 vintage). Reddish amber colour, small white head. Aroma is raspberries and some sweetness. Flavour is raspberries, syrup and overall really sweet. Refreshing, but not very exciting.

Bottled (2000 vintage) at Man in the Moon, Stockholm. Lightly hazy pale amber, almost no head. Concentraed ban-aid and raspberry aroma. Very sweet with notes of syrup and tiger balm. A lifeless and artificial soda pop imitation.
