COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Bottle conditioned.
Also sold as Blanche de Quenast in Dia/Ed supermarkets, as Floreffe Wit for Floreffe Abbey, as Mediterranea for the Italian market, as Blanche de Francorchamps, as t Geheim van de Smit, as Manneken Pis, and as L’Alsacienne Blanche de l’Eté.
Ingredients: Malted barley; wheat (40%); coriander; bitter orange peel; sugar; hops; yeast.
Blanche de Bruxelles owes its natural cloudiness to the large percentage (40 %) of wheat that goes into its composition. The natural spice aromas of coriander and bitter orange peels are added during the brewing process. The brewing method, which includes infusion, is very slow. The beer, which is not filtered, is bottled and refermented with yeast and brewing sugar. You need only take a sip of this delicious drink to appreciate the fresh and mellow flavour with its hint of orange. It is really not like any other beer. Always served chiled, between 3°C and 6°C.

33 cl. bottle. Pours pale yellow with a white head. Aromas of tropical fruit, yealt and malt. Flavors of pineapple, citrus and malt. Very mild, but very drinkable.

Can. Cloudy light yellow in colour with crisp body and airy steady head. Nose of light Belgian yeast. Taste of fresh mild yeast, coriander, grass, parsley, hay and barley. Easy to drink but little bit too thin and watery to taste really good.

Can shared with McTapps. A nice Witbier with some of their typical aromas but in the end a bit artficial and too much sugar in the sweetness. Defnitely a nice one where you can taste the orange in the background. To recommend.

Hazy light golden pour with small off white head. Aroma of yeast, wheat and citrus. Taste of wheat and citrus, slight corn sweetness. Very thin mouthfeel, would probably go down half decent on a super hot day.

Draft to taster at Dutch’s. Looks decent; a cloudy light gold with white lacing. Smells of dough, yeast, and citrus. Tastes like it smells with an average mouthfeel. Forgettable.

pours cloudy pale yellow, almost glowing, with a decent white head and retention. loads of coriander and oranges (not citrus) and malted sweetness, some bananas and spices, maybe pepper. hint of wheat - touch of acidity. prickly carbonation, light body - watery mouthfeel, short herbal-grassy finish. DP.

Can at home. Hazy yellow pour, foamy white head. Aroma is spicy citrus and lime. Flavor is slightly sweet citrus. Thin and a bit watery, but quite refreshing.

Lots of citrus (lemon? orange?) in this one. At first it was too different, but the more I drank the more I liked. Very weird label. Urine is not what one would want to associate with beer, but people like Corona, so there you are!

Draft at Bad Ragaz Hall Boyton Beach, FL. Bright yellow hazy pour with thick two finger white head. Good lace. Good coriander, wheat and hay aroma. Taste is similar with the floral notes coming through nicely. Very light and refreshing. Finished dry. No bitterness at all.

Draft at hopcat. Hazy gold with a dense white head. Fruity with a mild malt finish. Really refreshing.
