Also sold as Blanche de Quenast in Dia/Ed supermarkets, as Floreffe Wit for Floreffe Abbey, as Mediterranea for the Italian market, as Blanche de Francorchamps, as t Geheim van de Smit, as Manneken Pis, and as L’Alsacienne Blanche de l’Eté.
Ingredients: Malted barley; wheat (40%); coriander; bitter orange peel; sugar; hops; yeast.
Blanche de Bruxelles owes its natural cloudiness to the large percentage (40 %) of wheat that goes into its composition. The natural spice aromas of coriander and bitter orange peels are added during the brewing process. The brewing method, which includes infusion, is very slow. The beer, which is not filtered, is bottled and refermented with yeast and brewing sugar. You need only take a sip of this delicious drink to appreciate the fresh and mellow flavour with its hint of orange. It is really not like any other beer. Always served chiled, between 3°C and 6°C.

On keg tap at the Swan & Rushes, Leicester. Straw, cloudy with a big white head. Light but enticing scent of wheat and unidentifiable citrus. Sweet and somewhat herbal taste with a sourness rounding it off. Very little discernible flavour really. Nice body with good carbonation, but the finish is extremely short. Very disappointing.

Lite aroma. Appearance slightly cloudy. Weakish taste lifted by a slice of orange. Good drinking beer.

pretty thin standard wit. nothing wrong with it save for a weak feel, but does nothing to stand out either. refreshing on a warm day, simple...coriander, orange and light yeast.

On tap at 28 Springs. Pours a very light, pale yellowish with one finger of foamy white head. Aroma is yeasty and bready. Some grassiness. Flavor follows but is very mild. Somewhat watery and mild. Not much going on. Decent drinkable lawnmower beer, but not much more.

It’s a Belgian White but a very plain one. Not very much flavour nor aroma. No aftertaste and overall pretty boring. It’s not filthy, but not nice as well, it’s nothing.

Smak: Cytrusowy, kolendry brak. Piwo jest wytrawne, ale nie wodniste. Goryczki brak. Wysycenie: Niskie do średniego. Fajne, orzeźwiające piwo, ale kompletny brak kolendry utrudnia zaklasyfikowanie go do stylu witbier.

500ml can. Pours opaque yellow with a medium pillowy white head. Aroma is orange peel, lots of lemon and there's spice here too. Light bodied. Refreshing, but different to a typical witbier.

Bottle of 33cl, in a witbier glass; from the fridge. Nice witbier, with a little spiced taste. Not the very best one... Too light palate and aroma.
