Also sold as Blanche de Quenast in Dia/Ed supermarkets, as Floreffe Wit for Floreffe Abbey, as Mediterranea for the Italian market, as Blanche de Francorchamps, as t Geheim van de Smit, as Manneken Pis, and as L’Alsacienne Blanche de l’Eté.
Ingredients: Malted barley; wheat (40%); coriander; bitter orange peel; sugar; hops; yeast.
Blanche de Bruxelles owes its natural cloudiness to the large percentage (40 %) of wheat that goes into its composition. The natural spice aromas of coriander and bitter orange peels are added during the brewing process. The brewing method, which includes infusion, is very slow. The beer, which is not filtered, is bottled and refermented with yeast and brewing sugar. You need only take a sip of this delicious drink to appreciate the fresh and mellow flavour with its hint of orange. It is really not like any other beer. Always served chiled, between 3°C and 6°C.

Big head that soon settles. Cloudy apperance. A typical wheat beer - but a bit light bodied.

Tasted in toronto. Obtained from liquor store in Quebec. (Hull). Tasted in a tumbler. Cloudy, hazy yellow with a think white wispy head. Aroma of lemon, coriander and cloves. Not much banana, or other up front esters. Flavour was fairly muted slightly sweet but also lemony and lite.

Aroma is fruity with lots of fruit notes and coriander. Big foamy head, cloudy yellow color. Flavor has big notes of fruites, some citrus and coriander. Quite nice, but a bit thin. Dry, light bitter finish.

Bottle shared with HogTownHarry, blankboy & tupalev - courtesy of blankboy. Pale, hazy yellow with a medium snow-white head. Aroma of clove, corinander, a bit of banana. Mouthfeel is soft and thin. Flavour is nice - lemon-lime citrus notes, some mild spiciness. Seemed a little stale, but generally, a decent example.

Cloudy yellow with a fomay fizzy head. As a good witbier should I say! Corriander is present whith all the typical notes of banana and clove and citrus... but there’s something lacking about it and the taste doesn’t make up for the appearance. Nice brew, but no gold!

Shared with blankboy, GregClow and Harry - courtesy of blankboy. Pale hazy yellow, foamy white head. Some coriander in aroma. Watery mouthfeel. Pleasant taste - lots of lemon, soft, subtle average taste. Ok, would be quite drinkable on tap or from a fresher bottle.

Bottle shared with HogTownHarry, GregClow & tupalev. Pours a flat lightly cloudy yellow with a small white head. Wheaty aroma with banana, citrus, cloves and other spices. Flavour of primarily wheat with some yeast, spices and citrus. Less banana in flavour then the aroma which is a good thing with me. Lightly bitter aftertaste. Good but not great, a decent enjoyable beer.

Bien mais, elle goûte trop le savon en arrière goût. Un parfum de fleur mais trop ce goût de "savon", désolé.

Bottle (330ml). Shared with blankboy, GregClow and tupalev - courtesy of blankboy. Poured a murky light lemony yellow with an average white head. Aroma of alcohol, banana and citrus, wheat, sweet malt and plenty of yeast. Taste was lemony and mild, quite a bit of wheat, some citrus and other fruits, and a hint of ashy hops - very smooth. Aciidic and light bodied mouthfeel. Nothing special, but I found it easy to drink - good summer beer.

Yellow, nice white head. What and yeast aroma with citrus. Watery, with some yeast. Mild finish.
