COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Bottle conditioned.
Also sold as Blanche de Quenast in Dia/Ed supermarkets, as Floreffe Wit for Floreffe Abbey, as Mediterranea for the Italian market, as Blanche de Francorchamps, as t Geheim van de Smit, as Manneken Pis, and as L’Alsacienne Blanche de l’Eté.
Ingredients: Malted barley; wheat (40%); coriander; bitter orange peel; sugar; hops; yeast.
Blanche de Bruxelles owes its natural cloudiness to the large percentage (40 %) of wheat that goes into its composition. The natural spice aromas of coriander and bitter orange peels are added during the brewing process. The brewing method, which includes infusion, is very slow. The beer, which is not filtered, is bottled and refermented with yeast and brewing sugar. You need only take a sip of this delicious drink to appreciate the fresh and mellow flavour with its hint of orange. It is really not like any other beer. Always served chiled, between 3°C and 6°C.

Very unique beer. Pours clear gold with white foamy top and good carbonation. Light crisp and refreshing wheat taste with very clean palate finish. Some malty and earthen undertones. Overall quite flavorful and great for a sessional.

Mostly citrus and coriander, bit banana, not so intense wheat. Light maltiness in background.Sweetish with notes of sour, bit too sharp. Decent thirst quencher, but nothing more

Cloudy, pale golden. Aroma: refreshing and fruity. Taste wasn’t so good as smell - a bit too weak taste with accent of the hops. Nice, drinkable summer beer.

16oz. Can. Bright white expanding head that settles to moderate foam. Steady carb thru all the floaties. Muted corriander and associated spices. Body is soft and full. A slight twang of citrus upfront. Sweet malts and light spices and funk till end. A nice beer to yell at the cable company with. I enjoyed both the beer and the yelling. Stupid cable people.

On tap at Joe Canals West Deptford.
Appearance: Hazy pale golden body with a dense white head.
Aroma: The aroma smells exactly like milk with Fruit Loops. Exactly.
Taste: Creamy semi-sweet body, straw and milky Fruit Loops. Very interesting. Refreshing and creamy, enjoyable.
Palate: Creamy bodied with moderate carbonation.
Overall: I’ve never tasted a beer that tasted exactly like Fruit Loops in milk. Definitely interesting and enjoyable. I like this a lot.

Licht geel bier met schuim. Smaak is fris zuur en fruitig, citrus en banaan. Blijft redelijk lang hangen. Goed bier voor warme dagen.

330ml bottle. Hazy, yellow-ish golden colour with average to huge, frothy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Slightly muggy apple aroma, a touch of lemon, cautious yeasty overtones. Taste is dry, minimally tart, wheaty, a touch of lemon, some coriander, subtle sugary sweetness; nice carbo. Not too sweet, quite refreshing, OK.
