Also sold as Blanche de Quenast in Dia/Ed supermarkets, as Floreffe Wit for Floreffe Abbey, as Mediterranea for the Italian market, as Blanche de Francorchamps, as t Geheim van de Smit, as Manneken Pis, and as L’Alsacienne Blanche de l’Eté.
Ingredients: Malted barley; wheat (40%); coriander; bitter orange peel; sugar; hops; yeast.
Blanche de Bruxelles owes its natural cloudiness to the large percentage (40 %) of wheat that goes into its composition. The natural spice aromas of coriander and bitter orange peels are added during the brewing process. The brewing method, which includes infusion, is very slow. The beer, which is not filtered, is bottled and refermented with yeast and brewing sugar. You need only take a sip of this delicious drink to appreciate the fresh and mellow flavour with its hint of orange. It is really not like any other beer. Always served chiled, between 3°C and 6°C.

330ml bottle from mix pack. Faint orange aroma, off-yellow, hazy urine colour. Subdued taste, with tangy carbonation, like a pop. Dry , tart aftertaste. I think I got a lemon. Or what was supposed to be a lemon.

330 ml bottle. Cloudy yellow body with a good frothy head. Quite mild aroma with wheat, some citric fruit, mild spices and yeast. Taste is tart, orange and coriander. Finishes with a lingering lemon quality. Medium body, creamy texture, average carbonation.

Mutno žute boje. Kiselkasti miris i jako slabo popunjeno tijelo. Bez nekih zanimljivih okusa. Mogu reći da me malo razočaralo...

Loin d’être la meilleure bière blanche que j’ai pu essayer. Elle rafraîchit mais ne correspond pas à mes goûts.

May. ’16. A 0.33 l bottle. It poured a hazy pale yellow body with a big head atop. Lemon, coriander and bubblegum aroma. Flavor was a bit sweet, sugary, with bubblegum, fruity (peach), chalk and coriander notes. Medium bodied with moderately long finish. Okay, a wit on the sweeter side but therefore also full for the style.
