COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Bottle conditioned.
Also sold as Blanche de Quenast in Dia/Ed supermarkets, as Floreffe Wit for Floreffe Abbey, as Mediterranea for the Italian market, as Blanche de Francorchamps, as t Geheim van de Smit, as Manneken Pis, and as L’Alsacienne Blanche de l’Eté.
Ingredients: Malted barley; wheat (40%); coriander; bitter orange peel; sugar; hops; yeast.
Blanche de Bruxelles owes its natural cloudiness to the large percentage (40 %) of wheat that goes into its composition. The natural spice aromas of coriander and bitter orange peels are added during the brewing process. The brewing method, which includes infusion, is very slow. The beer, which is not filtered, is bottled and refermented with yeast and brewing sugar. You need only take a sip of this delicious drink to appreciate the fresh and mellow flavour with its hint of orange. It is really not like any other beer. Always served chiled, between 3°C and 6°C.

Nice wheat beer. Light and balanced in flavor. Starts with tart like malts and fruity bread, followed by a subtle herbal citrus flavor. Slightly spicy with a tart like light finish. Nice white beer.

Pretty mellow wit. I like my wheats a little stronger. Light in color as well. Still good though. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

On tap. Pours a straw gold with a Hirt white head. It has a crisp aroma of orange, coriander, and biscuit. The flavor is orange peel up front with a crisp finish. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Flaska från Belgoklubben. Ljust halmgul, kraftigt grumlad, vätska med högt vitt skum. Doft av lite citron och gröna peppriga kryddor. Len och fin munkänsla. Lite vattning i smaken. Helt ok wit beer.

Lekker witbiertje, zelfs voor diegene zoals mij die niet houden van witbier is dit een aanrader

Tasted as Blanche de Bruxelles, standard witbier with snow white, stable head and misty blonde colour, soft maltiness and wheatiness, moderately sourish, refreshing citrus peel and coriander. Decent but very cliché.

@ Nedre Mölla 9/7-14. Bottle (750 ml) from Belgoklubben. Hay/straw and light yeasty with spicy and citrusy notes, moderate acidic, medium body with an oily texture. The flavor is a bit thin.

UPDATED: JUL 24, 2014 Bottle from Belgoklubben. Pours hazy light-yellow with four finger white fritzy foam that dissipates quickly. Aroma of fresh citrus above all, some yeast, minerals and dust. Citrus and orange taste backed up by some light peppery and yeasty tones, grass and wheat. Rather dry finish with an orange touch. Light body, medium carbo, quite sharp bubbles, smooth texture. Well balanced, one of my personal favourites among summer beers. Should really be had at a low temperature like the label suggests.
