Also sold as Blanche de Quenast in Dia/Ed supermarkets, as Floreffe Wit for Floreffe Abbey, as Mediterranea for the Italian market, as Blanche de Francorchamps, as t Geheim van de Smit, as Manneken Pis, and as L’Alsacienne Blanche de l’Eté.
Ingredients: Malted barley; wheat (40%); coriander; bitter orange peel; sugar; hops; yeast.
Blanche de Bruxelles owes its natural cloudiness to the large percentage (40 %) of wheat that goes into its composition. The natural spice aromas of coriander and bitter orange peels are added during the brewing process. The brewing method, which includes infusion, is very slow. The beer, which is not filtered, is bottled and refermented with yeast and brewing sugar. You need only take a sip of this delicious drink to appreciate the fresh and mellow flavour with its hint of orange. It is really not like any other beer. Always served chiled, between 3°C and 6°C.

This was a nice little wit. Looks like the prototypical witbier; hazy pale yellow color with a small white head. Decent aromas and flavors of tart citrus and fruit and balanced with the sweet malt. Good mouthfeel, not too light or heavy and finishes smooth. I like this beer.

0,33L bottle, BB 20.02.2015 (from some random alco store @ Merekeskus, Tallinn). Pours hazy straw with white head. The head stays for some time. Aroma is fruits, spices, typical pleasant wit. Taste is also rather typical: sweet and sour, wheat, spices, and fruits with noticeable orange. Overall: a little bit too much carbo for my taste, but otherwise well-made wit. Note: I didn’t notice any info about the actual brewer on the label, 1 point from overall removed because of that. There should be clear information.

Can. Hazy golden color with medium head. Yeasty aroma with orange notes. Light sweet spicy taste with small amount of hops in aftertaste. Easy to drink summer beer.

The picture of the boy wizzing kind of makes me wonder about this one. Pours up a hazy yellow that looks like that first pee in the morning. ;D Exactly what I expected from a Belgian wheat brew with the coriander, wheat, and orange in both the flavor and aroma. Refreshing on a hot day and would like to try this one again from a bottle that has been bottle conditioned. Found this in a 4 pack of 16 oz cans so betting a bottle is better.

330ml bottle bought at Belgian Beer International in Tsuen Wan.

Cloudy, hazy very pale golden colour with traces of yeast and particles; One finger head with crumpety white foam which last for 90 seconds; Very good lacing and zero carbonation; Fragrant aroma of malt, with strong orange peel, perfrume, light floral, light sugar, light wheat, shades of grapefruit, light spices and faint grass; Very light sweet taste of light malt, with strong wheat, thin tartness, strong coriander, orange peel, light bitter orange, yeast, light spices and herbs; Close to light body, slick and crisp palate; Mouth feel is rich - more malts and wheat than most Witbiers. Tartness in notes only, lots of flowery Curaçao orange taste, not bitter, just nice light spicyness and yeastiness that works well. Good… Hoppiness is nice light perfume and floral nose, light lemon, herbal and faint grass in taste. No bitterness, just thin spicy herbal wheaty finish; Quite dry aftertaste. Crisp and very easy to mouth.

Comments: This is a Witbier being rich in content and palate, with nice Curaçao and floral aroma, and subtle spice and herbal taste. A good change of scenery from those typical light-weight and wishy-washy macro Witbiers, if only its taste can be more expressive. Recommended!

Poured from tap to glass. Hazy light straw hue with white head that lingered in a thin layer. Aroma is clean, pear, sweet apple, straw. Mouthfeel is very refreshing with a medium light body and moderate carbonation. Taste is dry throughout with a lightly sweet following and clean finish. Overall this was a nice, clean brew that would appeal to a very broad spectrum of beer drinkers. It was nothing spectacular, but not offending in any way.

Clear pale golden color, fast disappearing white head - Aroma is fruity (orange ), spicy (coriander ), yeasty (banana and bread), wheat - flavor of wheat , coriander, orange peal - light body, fizzy carbonation, creamy, Orange peal wheat finish - decent but not really exciting

Citroen gele kleur met een volle kraag. Iets troebel. Ruikt mout en beetje mug. Iets citrus. Smaakt fris, citrus iets kunstmatig zoet. Dun van smaak.

Pours a yellow slightly unclear beer with a good white head. Smells malts and lemon. Tastes watery, soap, lemon amd malts. Almost no carbo, thin body and a watery texture.

Pours a really pale yellow and hazy, almost too white. Nose is of coriander and offers some interesting citrusy/oranges notes. Taste is not sweet at all and has a light wheat tartness to it. Light flavors of fresh wheat but it is mostly playing on the oranges and spices side again. Body is critically low, mouthfeel not far from watery. Refreshing but not really outstanding.
