Compact and of good persistence foam. Loaded yellow color, dense and hazy. Sour and bitterish scent; light rumors of alcohol and spices. Medium bubbly. Delicate and pleasant taste, not excessive strongly. Balanced and with a long end.

Sample from 330 ml bottle at the Mondial. Lightly hazy-oily gold-blonde with a huge, billowy lasting white head...lovely caramelly-yeasty-earthy nose offering hints of vanilla, honey and sweet lemons...honey-touched in the body, light butterscotch cookies, very creamy and almost a bit cloying, sticky almost to the finish, but quite pleasant and quaffable for me.

Hazy orange brew. A bit weak and thin. Easy to drink, but too boring for me. Finish is too sweet and not complex enough.

Floral, lavender, vanilla, fruity aroma has some light spicy notes. Clear, deep golden-blonde with a low but lasting white head that laces well. Floral, creamy flavour with pleasant fruity esters and spicy, herbal hop flavour. Decent balance between sweet malts and hop bitterness. Medium-light body with low carbonation. Sampled at Mondial de la Bière 2005.

On tap somewhere in France. Pours a cloudy lightish color. Very enjoyable and solid Belgian. I hope I’m rating the right one here because the menu just said "Floreffe" Whatever, they are all pretty close.

Hazy blond body with a decent white frothy head. Sweet/malty aroma with subtle hints of alcohol. Well balanced malty/hoppy taste with spicy, fruity (orange, citrus), herbal, and yeasty notes. Fairly werming finish. This is a good strong ale.
