(Bottle 33 cl) Dark golden, with a decent head. Loads of yest in the brew, and yeasty notes. But very sugary - overly sweet actually. But somehow still manages to be quenching. Somewhat anonymous - I miss something in here. 211296

sweet malt fruity aroma, but not to much. looks good in a chimay chalice. taste: yeast citrus and a bit of hops sweet and a little sour. mf is medium with good carbonation. finish is sourrish and a bit lingering. good session beer, i think.

Sweet, perhaps a bit too much so, but to drink one is a real joy, however I would have passed on a second one

Bottle. Marcipan aroma, slightly acidic. Shiny golden colour and a big, creamy white semi-stable head. Bitter at first (not hop-bitter, but some strange bitterness which is not excactly nice). Sweetish semi-malty flavour with some sourness. Hint of mold.

(Bottled) Deep golden color with a large, foamy and pillowy, everlasting head. An acidic aroma of bisquits, banana and butter. Toffee-caramely, quite sweet and malty, yeasty flavor. Very smooth, although quite carbonated, medium-bodied and slicky-sweet palate. A nice and smooth, quite sweet blonde that somehow reminds me of Duvel. It’s not quite as balanced, though.

Bouteille de 330 ml. Arôme: Odeur d’agrumes et de miel. Apparence: Couleur blonde cuivrée. Enorme col blanc sculpté qui perdure. Belle dentelle sur le verre. Carbonisation moyenne. Saveur: Goût fruité avec une touche de coriandre. Durée de l’arrière goût moyen. Palette: Corps moyen avec une texture mince. Faible carbonisation. Arrière goût de pamplemousse. (Rating #88)

Head is initially average sized, frothy, white, mostly lasting. Body is hazy dark yellow, bottle conditioned. Aroma is moderately malty (toasted grain, cookie), lightly hoppy (flowers), lightly yeasty (cobwebs, mold), with notes of clove, candy sugar, banana. Flavor is moderately sweet, lightly acidic, lightly bitter. Finish is lightly sweet, lightly acidic, moderately bitter, short. Medium body, velvety texture, lively carbonation. Pretty nice Belgian golden, not terribly exciting but nicely done...fluffy, good balance, pleasant aroma, lasting head. A little too quick in the finish, thus not as seemingly flavorful as better examples.

Golden color with a white head. Yeasty and sweet fruity aroma and sweet yeasty citrus taste. Medium to full body and a long sweet fruity finish.
