Light orange with a loose head of foam. Aromas are sweet malts with fruit, spice and some bubble gum. Flavours are fruity, floral and sweet. Lacks hops bitterness. Has a decent sparkle. OKish.

3.2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
(Bottled as Abbaye Mont St.Jean for D.L.P. supermarkets in France): Earthy malt and coriander confined under abundant sticky foam...Faint spicy hops defined by a creamy mouthfeel...Quite hospitable and quenching for a pseudo-Leffe style...

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
UPDATED: MAY 24, 2004 Clear golden coloured, fantastic big white lasting rocky head. Hoppy and yeasty aroma, not very strong but nice. Pleasant soft hoppy flavour, balanced, not too complex though. Very nice finish, makes you want to drink more and more. One of the few relatively low alcohol blonde beers i really like.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Hazy golden color. Aroma of paper and light peach fruitness. Good structure, aggressive in the front and round; a bit sweeter later. Balanced final. Not extraordinary, but pleasant.

3.4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Got this bootle for free at a supermarket in Luxembourg because the bottle was beyond its best before date (one year past actually). That did not mean that the beer was not good; more the opposite. The head was enourmous. It had an interesting aroma something resembling a fragrance of milk/yoghurt. The color was that of a pilsner, but the beer had a slight haze - possibly caused by the age of the beer. The taste was pleasant loaded with typical Belgian malts.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
330 ml bottle.
Good aroma, good taste, but there is something missing at the end, it vanishes a little fast. But for a blonde this is good.

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 18/20
a nice blonde. A earthy hoppy aroma, the taste was nice, a little bitter and spicey, it was more bitter then Malmedy Blonde which I tasted along side this, but by somereason people think its the same beer despite the 0.7 ABV difference. This one didnt have as large head as the Malmedy one, and the little head I saw on this dissapeared quickly.. nice blonde none of the less
