Draft. Gold bodied. Nose is flowery and sweet with LOTS of fruit notes. Light spice as well. Taste is malty with sweet, ripened fruits, soft, dusty yeast and light spice. Body is medium with a mild carbonation feel. Finishes with soft yeast, fruit, sweet malts, light spice and flowers.

Bottled at the Loughborough Beer Festival 2006. A lovely blond, solid gold body, smooth feel to it, hint of yeast, bubbly sweet fruits with a slight sour edge.

from the tap. golden color with a decent bubly head. Aroma was spicy and slightly yeasty. The flavor was sour citrus bitter. I like sour bitter beer, but this one didn’t do it for me. The bitternish was very rough, and dind’t seem to add anything to the enjoyment of the beer.

4/8 de l’embalage cadeau de Lefebvre. Beau collet, couleur jaune foncé. Une arome légère d’épice et de malt, le goût est un petit peu épicé et fruité. Légérement amère. Pas mauvaise.

33 cl bottle, ’bbe’ Nov 06. A clear brassy body with a few large bubbles and a reasonably stable head that laces pretty well. Aroma of bread and yeast, enriched with fruit (apricot?, tropical), a light alcoholic note and just a dash of hops. The taste is juicy but dry, quite edgy, light sourish and even light metallic, ending in a rough bitterness. Some dried citrus peel appears timidly alongside a touch of honey. A very prickling palate.

Clear gold. Mountainous stark-white foam hugs the glass as it slowly falls. Yeast, rum, banana taffy, apricots, and piecrust malts stream up from the glass. Soft, expansive carbonation. Round, uncooked plantain tartness is chased by an inordinate amount of huskiness and strange artificial banana and vanilla taffy flavors. Very slick, reminiscent of an overripe cantaloupe, and poorly attenuated. Notes of sour apples prevail over the doughy yeast and naan flavors, as candy sugar lends a flash of rummy sweetness. Wet, husky grains last well into the finish, pummeling the more nuanced rose-petal hop vibrancy. Not very pleasant - Looks and feels nice, but the excessive yeastiness interferes with everything else.
