Bottle 33cl. Opaque dark brown, small beige head, dissipates quickly, thin layer remains, minimal lacing; strong licorice/drop nose, dark fruit, coffee, leather, clove, cough drop, raisin, soy sauce, anise; moderate sweetbitter taste, distinctive licorice, bit smoky, spicy notes; creamy texture, full body; long bittersweet finish, and the licorice lingers on! Not your typical dubbel, but not bad att all.

Ligero sabor a regaliz.

330 ml bottle. Pours reddish brown with light head. Aromas of licorice, vegetables, and malts. Flavors are similar with some spicy notes. Interesting but there are many better Dubbels.

Dark ruby. Impressive beige head and lacing. Aroma of dried fruits, milk chocolate, peach, dark caramel and port. Dark chocolate, coffee and berries in taste. Aftertaste of wild berries and coffee with a hint of sourness. Fairly dry mouthfeel. A good Belgian dubbel.

Bottle. Moderate malt notes or roasted and milk chocolate, moderate hops of herbs, light to moderate dough for the yeast, with raisin, wood, cola and a mix of spices. Head is small, wispy, off-white with slippery alcing and is mostly diminishing. Color is dark brown. Flavor starts moderately sweet and lightly acidic, then finishes lightly to moderately acidic and lightly bitter. Palate is medium, and the texture is hidden by the fizzy carbonation. This is a nice spicy and herbal Abbey Dubbel
