Ein durchschnittliches, aber durchaus trinkbares Dubbel mit leicht malzigen Aklaengen und ein paar Gewuerzen im Hintergrund. Anis habe ich nicht bemerkt, doch alles in allem solide Arbeit.

bottle from BarleyWine, Cph - dark brown pour with a thin tan head. Sweet malty and yeasty, with some dark fruits, berries, brown sugar, nutty, slight choc. Decent enough.

Bouteille de 330 ml de brune. Arôme très distinctif de cerise, cassis et épice. En bouche notes de vin, bois et épices. Arômes et goût assez complexe. Intéressant et surtout différent. Bonne expérience à essayer

Bottle 330ml @ Geokkjer
Pours clear brown with a off-white head. Aroma has notes of malt, toffee, bread and hint of licorice. Taste is medium sweet and light bitter with a long caramel and licorice finish. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.

Dark brown pour with huge bubbly beige head that sticks to the glass. Malty smell with bread like notes. Also caramel/toffee in there. Nice not overwhelming sweet toffee taste with prominent anaise and black licorice. Medium bodied with quite the carbonation. Good dubbel!

Bottle. Spiced cola nose, with some dark honey and light prune. Dark brown, thin skim of tan head. Tart initial, then moderate malty sweetness, some dark fruits (cherries, berries), slight oxidation. Medium body. Bit light for a dubbel, but fairly tasty.

A very unique and delicious strong ale. Hints of chocolate-raisins, mocha, and licorice are evident. Pours dark brown with an impressive frothy white head. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
