nice complex aroma... vanilla, sugar, something dark! nice full creamy body, buttery malts that keep on lingering... weird but cool sweet/sour taste

pours hazy dark brown with a creamy light beige head, very good retention and strong lacing. intense dark fruitiness, some raisins, nice blend of spices - light licorice and nutmeg, dark golden candi, nice caramel-toffee esters, cloying molasses, dusty and spicy yeastiness. nice belgian bubbles, medium body - oily and sticky, grassy-peppery finish. nice brew.

75 cl bottle, 8%. Pours dark brown with red shines. Bubbly brownish head short lived. Aroma is toasted malts, porto, toffee, coffe and yeast. Taste is bitter, intense, crisp. Dry on palate with a sustained carbonation. Possibly a good dessert one, a bit boozy but really enjoyable.

28/IV/13 - 33cl bottle @ Zythos Bierfestival (2013-434)

Clear red brown beer, aery beige head, unstable, bit adhesive. Aroma: lots of aniseed, black liquorish, star anise, caramel. MF: way too much carbon, medium body. Taste: black liquorish, sour touch, mocha, but mainly liquorish, aniseed, star anise etc... Aftertaste: sourish, some mocha, bitter hops, way too much aniseed, not balanced anymore. How is this a 97??

33 cl. bottle @ home, bought online @ Mitra. Dark brown with a beige head. Sweet malty aroma with hops. Semi biter taste with some roasted malts adding some chocolate hints. Long bitter aftertaste. Lively carbonation. Yet another good beer.

Bought a 330ml bottle at Berts Bierhuis. Aroma of caramel, chocolate, fruits, notes, herbs and some liquor. Is highly carbonated and has a high cream colored head. Taste of fruits, caramel, herbs, red fruits and brown sugar. Taste is sweet, with a light bitter afterdrunk. Overall this is for me the best Floreffe. I absolutely enjoyed it.
