Brune foncée opaque, notes malt, légères caramel, chocolat, fruits mûrs, ensemble bien équilibré, assez douce en bouche, assez facile, légère amertume en finale. Bouteille 33cl bue à l’Académie de la bière, Paris, France, le 29/07/2016.

From Alcampo. In Teku glass. Watching The Sopranos 1x02. Some licorice. There is something adictive in this beer that have made me enjoy it more the more I drank it in both nose and mouth

Bottle from Plzen. Pours opaque black with a long lived cream head. Nose of malt loaf, raisins, burnt toffee. More fruit on the palate, very full flavour but very easy drinking.

0.33 bottle.
A very dark brown color with a small, hilly, off-white head. Aroma of bananas, citruses, yeasts, and surprisingly some smoke. Taste is sweet, yeasty, and malty; sugar, caramel, and fruits are the most prominent - quite complex. A medium body, a slick texture, and a soft carbonation. Finish is medium long with a sugary character - quite ok. All in all the beer is tasty but by no means awesome or anything like that.

33cl bottle. Brown and cloudy with big head. The beer has a medium intensive but deep aromas of dark fruits, chocolate, clove, cherry coke, some vanilla, brown cake. Oily and creamy texture with medium thick body. Medium sweet with dried fruits and cake notes. Finish is more dried fruits and earthy spices. Aftertaste is medium long. OK.

Really nice belgian strong ale. Raisins and black pepper in the aroma. Tastes of prunes and raisins with some acidity in the aftertaste. Low but some bitterness. A really good beer resembling the best of the trappists.

Bottle. Rich complex maltiness, alcohol present yet not even warming. Full bodied. Dried fruits, prunes, cherries. Almost no hops, yet feels balanced. High carbonation. Very good.
