Golden-brassy with a big thick head. Typical belgian yeast aromas, flowery. Medium to low sweet, with a dry and alcoholic finish. Average carbonation, quite smooth palate. Nothing wrong but there are better tripels.

It poured a hazy amber color with a lot of small bubbles clinging to the side of the glass. The aroma was dark fruit with a sweet and fruity taste along with some caramel in the background. Very smooth and it covers up the alcohol quite well.

Bottle - a month after the best before date. Pours a bit hazy, orange colour with a great head of considerable retention. The aroma is a typical peach and banana duo with some alcohol and caramel on the back seat. The beer is rather sweet, malty with a distinct pepperish backbone, some warming alcohol notes and a really strong carbonation. Not bad, but I’ve drunk better triples before. Still, there is an off chance that the extra month might have affected the beer somehow.
