I was a bit disappointed by this. The flavors and aromas were good but weak. Mouthfeel wasn’t as full as I expect from a Triple. Sweet and fruity with a dry and slightly bitter finish. Looked good with a frothy white head. Overall it’s a decent Triple but there are dozens out there that are better.

Pours golden with a foamy white head. Aroma is pleasantly yeasty, with a bit of spice and clove. Taste is sweet, malty, with a hint of citrus and the aforementioned yeasty spice. Light bodied, carbonation is above average and a bit foamy. Not bad, very drinkable for a beer with 8% ABV.

0,33 bottle purchased and consumed in Serbia. Pours cloudy dark orange with a huge off white head. Nose: yeast, some caramel. Mouth: round! Malts, bread and caramel aftertaste. The end is lightly dry. Peculiar Tripel! ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Golden color beer with a good white head, high carbonation. Taste is Belgian malt, hops, sugar, light fruit and a little spice. Nice triple, easy to drink.

Pours hazy deep gold with one finger of loose white head diminishing gradually to a thin skim, minimal patchy lacing. Nose is pale malt and boozy dark fruit, candi sugar, Belgian yeast. Taste is moderate candi sugar and apples, mild bitter, slightly tart. Medium body, low sustained carbonation, with an off-dry moderate bitter boozy finish. Again, Floreffe isn’t getting me too excited. Pretty pedestrian tripel, with both nose and flavour on the muted side after the first short-lived burst of moderately interesting Belgian yeasts. Appearance is again disappointing, short-lived short head and absence of lacing. I can think of better alternatives.

Birra arancio opalescente, quasi ambrata. Schiuma bianca compatta ed aderente, buona durata. Al naso sentori di miele, qualche castagna, poca frutta. In bocca miele di castagna, caramelle mou, un po’ di biscottini al burro. Finale lungo e caldo come piace a me. Buona bevuta.
