I was a bit disappointed by this. The flavors and aromas were good but weak. Mouthfeel wasn’t as full as I expect from a Triple. Sweet and fruity with a dry and slightly bitter finish. Looked good with a frothy white head. Overall it’s a decent Triple but there are dozens out there that are better.

Dark amber with medium white puffy cap. Mild malt aroma. Main taste - caramel bitterness with remaining aftertaste on the tongue second part, some sweetness on the first half and the tip.

Bottle 33cl. Yellow orange with white head. Lots of Co2. Aroma is not very special. Taste is metallic. Not my cup of tea.

Bottle. Bronze beer with a strong but soon disappearing head, with a rather bubbly body. The aroma is mildly spiced with bitterness, and the flavour is fairly dry with fruitiness, spice, and some strong bitterness. Overall an average Belgian Triple. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle 33cl. Hazy pale orange amber color, generous frothy white head, good retention and lacing; aroma fruity, yeasty, bread, candy sugar, honey, grass, cloves; smooth bittersweet, bit tart, yeast; full body, creamy texture; dry mild hopbitter finish.

Bottle@home lunch. Huge white foam. Golden clear. Good carbonation. Yeasty spicy notes. Peppery. Dry bitter. Medium body. Again very clean classical belgian brew.

Flaske fra Barley Wine, på hytta juli-14: flott hvitt skum som varer helt til bunns, dette kan belgierne! Sjarmerende aroma og smak av lyse bær, appelin/mandarin og sommerblomster. Farlig lett å helle over drøvelen. Passet utmerket som nightcap til en episode av Borgen.

UPDATED: JUL 22, 2014 Bottle 33cl. Brussel. Clear golden body with a proper white big head. Aroma has notes of malt, yeast, dried fruits and hint of alcohol.

330ml bottle pours a golden orange color with a huge white head with good retention and leaving some nice lacing on the glass. Aroma is light fruits with some yeast and some herbal and grassy notes. Taste is a fruity and malty sweetness with a herbal and grassy bitterness. Medium bodied with good carbonation. A decent tripel, but certainly not one of the better ones out there.
