33cl bottle at Pequeño Buda, Puerto de la Cruz. Pours slightly hazy dark golden with a white head. Aroma of malt, dried fruits, alcohol and hints of spices. Sweet and fruity with a lightly sour and bitter finish. Sweet, but balanced. Ok tripel, but not so memorable. Quite easy to drink. (2013-01-01)

Poured a murky pale amber with a small white head. Aroma of caramel malt and floral hops. Medium body at best, flavour is as the aroma but not wel balanced, with an astringent end.

pours hazy bright golden with a tall frothy and creamy white head, very good retention and strong lacing - beautiful. aroma and taste are pretty dull - honeyed malts, lightly toasted candi, some bubblegum, booze and decent belgiumness, some off-apples. bright to average carbonation, light to medium body - oily, short but present grassy finish - tad weak for all that remaining sugar but a good overall mouthfeel. still.. this macro-abbey shows its imperfections. meh.. DP.

Nice and floral with a decent mouthfeel and persistent head. It has a good clean finish, but I think this trippel lacked some of the depth I expect in this Belgian delight ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

February 2013. Bottle. Fruity and spicy aroma. Color is hazy golden yellow with a large white head. Caramel, spice, honey flavors with a light hoppy finish. Good but not great.

Pours a dark yellow / honey color with a monster head that slowwwwwly dissipates leaving behind lacing. Nose of spice. Taste has the spice, some sweetness and warming alcohol on the finish. Good, but not the best tripel. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bought a 330ml bottle at Bert’’s Bierhuis. Has a soapy white head and is highly carbonated. Aroma of fruits and spices. Taste of citrus fruits, a little caramel and some spices. Overall this tripel is easy to drink, but for me this is definitely not the best tripel.

yeasts, spices and fruits. sounds like a complex recipe but it comes off all a bit simple here. nice and refreshing though.

Bottle. Hazy medium gold with an average white head. Aroma is sweet and yeasty, straight up barley candy sweetness with spicy notes. The palate is much the same: simple candy sugar sweetness, some yeasty phenols, falvour is mostly marzipan and honey. Too simple, too sweet.

13/III/13 - 33cl bottle @ Trollekelder (Gent) - BB: n/a (2013-239)

Clear orange beer, big creamy off-white head, very stable, adhesive, leaving a nice lacing in the glass. Aroma: grains, hay, bit sweet, spices, bit grassy, dusty, paint. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: sweet malty start, grains, bit sugary, spices. Aftertaste: bitter orange peel, sweet malts, bit sugary, some spices, fruity touch, little metallic. Very decent tripel, I was pleasantly surprised by Lefebvre...
